Arnau's life begins with Varganter, the son of humble parents who loved each other with dedication and fidelity. This was interpreted as a signal to designate who would be enshrined as future Chosen Guardians and later replace the existing ones. But of course these were not his true intentions, what Lothar really planned was to use King Harald as a puppet in the search and subsequent control of the lost Portals.
