From the Guardians' perspective, the existence of the Portals represented an enigma that should not be deciphered.

The Portals in their beginnings were created for the Demi-Gods, brothers of Dyaus as a bridge between their own world and the earth. Through this they could visit their creations and share with them closely, and it is even believed that after the creation of the First Guardians, the Demigods once again used the portals to give a secret message to these first three Brave Warriors, who remained on earth to protect humanity from the evil caused by their brothers Marduk and Inga.

For these Portals to work, a special energy was required, which only the Gods possessed. It is believed that part of the secret that the Demigod entrusted to the First Three Guardians, was that due to the fear that this energy would be exhausted, they had left some of this energy on earth, which should then be used only by the one who Dyaus himself decided and at the right time. To this Chosen by Dyaus, to open the portals, the High and Elders Guardsionist studious of his creed, then they would call him The Guardian of Guardians… The Eternal Guardian.

The location of this energy was a closely guarded secret by the First Guardians, faithful to their creators and their creed. And only one of the three Guardians would transmit said secret to whoever proved to be the most faithful and courageous Guardian of the next generation of Chosen Guardians to emerge, and thus in this way said secret came into the hands of Lothar, who was the most precious Guardian. Chosen, who proved to be the brave and faithful, until he allowed Greed to enter his heart and quickly, as naive as he was guilty, he turned into a Dark Being, by perpetrating the most cruel act that humanity has suffered and with it breaking the Sacred Principle of DUN.
 
From the Guardian belief, the only being different from the Gods, who could open the Portals was the Eternal Guardian, and not only because of his birth condition, which would endow him with unique and special abilities, but also because of his strength of spirit and temperance. that would lead him to know when he should do it and for what. However, in one of the writings embodied in the Sacred Papyri of the Guardians, the Eternal Guardian is not expressly named as the Chosen One to open the Portals, but rather reads the following: "He who dominates and guards the Force of the Tree of Wisdom may to bind and untie the gates that unite both worlds "... So based on their wide and wise knowledge of the Guardian creed, inspired by the wisdom of the Zaqen, the Guardian Highs and Elders interpreted it this way.

On the other hand, the Hexerians believed that anyone who agreed to be next to the Custodian Tree and achieved with the highest control of his mind and spirit, after a severe, long and special preparation, could control the power of Zaqen himself. and open the Portals. But this would not be enough to open them, since no one knew the location of said portals, nor did the First Guardians know their location, and if they did, they did not share this secret with their pupils the Chosen Guardians, since the only one who had to open them had to be the Guardian of Guardians, and thus they would keep the secret until Dyaus himself, according to his will, chose the correct moment for its revelation.

It is even said that the Guardians came to deny the existence of these Portals, they considered them lost, they believed that they were destroyed a long time ago, so this Hexereian belief did not represent any danger. The latter, although they did not know where they could lie, either, a fundamental part of their belief consisted in finding their sacred doors and worshiping them, embarking on the task of looking for said remains or remnants and rebuilding them.

Going back to the present, in some 25 years of King Harald's rule, having access to the great power of Elder Zaqen and a huge part of the Sacred writings taken by the Rebel Guardian before, during and after the Core, of the seven portals that are believed to exist, only 2 have been found. Said Portals are revered, cared for and protected by the three Witches and their entourages, thus allowing the passage of all kinds of creatures, under their rituals and cults. It is also speculated that the Portals are of different sizes, since the two of which are known have different characteristics and lengths, tending to think that the Portals that remain to be discovered could actually be of other shapes and sizes allowing entry and liberation of larger creatures or forms of beings of great power that remain an enigma.
